After Mapbox unveiled its new logo, we aimed to amplify the excitement by refreshing the homepage for maximum impact. In my role as the design lead, I aimed to prominently showcase Mapbox's three core product offerings: mapping, navigation, and location search SDKs, which were absent from the previous design. I used this opportunity to elevate Mapbox’s visual design by introducing new icon designs and implementing a default astronaut avatar for signed-in users. My favorite design detail is the interactive hero animation of map tiles, which effectively showcases the core products.
